DESCRIPTION: The DVCHAP Training is intended for advocates and staff of gender-based violence programs to make referrals into the Domestic Violence Coordinated Housing Access Point (DVCHAP), the domestic violence coordinated entry system in King County. This system is the parallel system to the Coordinated Entry system held by the King County Regional Homelessness Authority. This system serves survivors who are homeless under Category 4 of Homelessness.&nbsp;DVCHAP is a closed system for GBV programs to refer and to receive referrals: all partners are held to the confidentiality/privilege requirements of Victim Service Providers as established under VAWA/VOCA/FVPSA.&nbsp;\n&nbsp;\nWEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th, 2026\n10am - 12pm PT via Zoom\nThis training will be recorded.\n&nbsp;\nTopics Covered: \n\nDVCHAP context and background\nProcess & flow\nCommunity established Guiding Principles\nAssessment walk-through\nOur roles as advocates\nQuestions & Discussion\nAdditional Resources & Navigation\n\n\nAll partners referring into DVCHAP must complete a DVCHAP training once annually.
