CEGV wants to invite you to a day of rest, rejuvenation, and relationship building!\nWithin the framework of Black-Abolitionist Feminism, our Prevention work is constantly straddling the long work of opposing systemic harm with the immediate and ongoing work of interrupting violence now!  We know that vicarious trauma can greatly impact our ability to make decisions that are in alignment with our values of transforming patriarchal cultures requires and that we must be well resourced to do so... “Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation and that is an act of political warfare.” - Audre Lorde\nOn November 8th at the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA, we'll be gathering for a day to FEEEEL rested and rejuvenated, and relationshiped!
