DESCRIPTION:  \nREQUIRED DVCHAP TRAINING - Attendance Required Once Annually for ALL and NEW DVCHAP Assessors\nThis is registration for: \nWEDNESDAY, NOV 6 2024\n10am - 12pm PST via Zoom\n \nWhat: The Domestic Violence Coordinated Housing Access Point (DVCHAP) system is a DV-specific housing resource system parallel to King County's Coordinated Entry for All. This training will provide DVCHAP historical context and background, discuss the DVCHAP assessment in-depth, and will include time for questions and feedback. \nAll advocates submitting assessments for DVCHAP housing resources must complete a DVCHAP training every year. Attendance of virtual training OR completion of the alternate training option is mandatory to submit referrals to DVCHAP. We know that assessments which include more information ultimately get prioritized, and we want to make sure that a survivor has the opportunity to share as much as they feel comfortable with. This does come from advocates’ knowledge of resources and ability to ask pertinent follow-up questions while completing the assessment together.\nWho: GBV advocates, case managers, or any provider who intends to submit referrals in the DVCHAP system for housing placement. \n\nstyle="color: #444444;" />If this date does not work for your agency/team and/or you are interested in holding a training just for your team at a specific date/time, please contact the Hannah Whitworth to work out other arrangements.
