DESCRIPTION:  \nDVCHAP Training is required ONCE ANNUALLY for ALL DVCHAP Assessors: if you are new to your role, have not participated in a training within the last year, or just want a refresher, this training is for you!\n \nThis is registration for: \nWEDNESDAY, MAY 7, 2025\n11am - 1pm PST via Zoom\n \nWhat: The Domestic Violence Coordinated Housing Access Point (DVCHAP) system is a DV-specific housing resource system parallel to King County's Coordinated Entry for All. This training will provide DVCHAP historical context and background, discuss the DVCHAP process and assessment in-depth, and will include time for questions and feedback.\nAll advocates submitting assessments for DVCHAP housing resources must complete a DVCHAP training every year. Attendance of virtual training OR completion of the alternate training option is mandatory to submit referrals to DVCHAP. We know that assessments which include more information ultimately get prioritized, and we want to make sure that a survivor has the opportunity to share as much as they feel comfortable with. This comes from advocates’ knowledge of resources and ability to ask pertinent follow-up questions while completing the assessment together.\nWho: GBV advocates, case managers, or any provider who intends to submit referrals in the DVCHAP system for housing placement. \n\nstyle="color: #444444;" />If you attended the November 6, 2024 DVCHAP training, the January 30, 2025, or have completed a DVCHAP training within the last year, you do not need to complete this training.
