This course will also identify ways that these lived-experience differences can impact an individual’s sexual health over a lifetime. Lastly, this course will offer ways to modify trauma treatment to be more Neurodivergent-affirming.

By the end of the workshop, the audience should be able to:

  • Understand how sensory and attending differences can lead to emotional dysregulation and executive dysfunction.

  • Identify ways that the lived-experience differences of Autism and ADHD impact sexual health and relationships.

  • Identify at 2 tools and/or concepts to make their clinical practice more Neurodivergent-Affirming.
